Rita Ora is stepping into a bold new era of self-expression with her latest music, celebrating her confidence and femininity like never before.
The chart-topping British singer has just released her scorching summer single "Heat" – complete with a sizzling music video premiering Friday, June 6 at 5pm BST. This marks a vibrant departure from the introspective tone of her previous album "You and I," which chronicled her romance and marriage to filmmaker Taika Waititi.
The 34-year-old star revealed to The Sun's Bizarre column: "This time, I'm fully embracing my sensuality and everything that makes me who I am as a woman. My last album was deeply personal – all about love and marriage. But this new chapter is about rediscovering that carefree energy from when I first entered the music scene."
"It's not about being profound," Rita continued with enthusiasm. "It's about celebrating how far I've come while having absolute fun doing it."
Now happily married for three years to 49-year-old Waititi, the "Hot Right Now" hitmaker reflects on how keeping an open mind led her to true happiness. She beams when discussing her marital bliss: "I'm in such an incredible place right now."
Breaking conventional dating norms, Rita shares valuable advice for singles: "I never believed in having a 'type.' For me, it was always about connecting with someone as an individual rather than checking boxes on some imaginary list."
"Some of my friends were skeptical at first," she reveals with amusement, "but after following this approach, they've found amazing partners they never would have considered before. Life's most beautiful surprises often come when we least expect them!"
