On Wednesday (Aug 27) morning, a third earthquake struck Johor, as reported by the Malaysian Meteorological Department.
The department announced on Facebook that the earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.2, occurred 18km south of Segamat at a depth of 10km around 9am.
Segamat is located approximately 180km away from Singapore.
Tremors were felt in most areas of Johor and Southern Pahang, according to MetMalaysia, who stated that they will continue to monitor the situation.
This event follows two previous earthquakes in Johor - the first, a magnitude 4.1 quake, hit 5km west of Segamat around 6.10am, while the second quake, measuring 2.8 in magnitude, originated 28km north-west of Kluang at approximately 9am.
