A shocking road rage incident in Johor has taken social media by storm, with police now scrambling to identify the fighters involved in a wild public brawl.
The explosive confrontation was captured in a one-minute video posted by Facebook user Fandyjunas on Valentine's Day (Feb 14), showing tempers flaring dangerously on a busy roadway. The footage begins with an enraged man in a blue shirt storming out of his vehicle toward another driver dressed in black.
What starts as a shouting match quickly escalates into full-blown fisticuffs as the two men trade blows directly on the asphalt, narrowly avoiding passing motorcyclists during their chaotic scuffle. Several brave bystanders eventually intervene to separate the combatants, with one man heard shouting that he was struck first.
Johor Bahru police chief assistant commissioner Raub Selamat confirmed authorities are actively investigating the viral incident. "We're working to establish all facts surrounding this case, including identifying those involved and collecting witness statements," he told reporters from New Straits Times.
The video has become an overnight sensation, racking up an astonishing 4.1 million views and sparking heated discussions among netizens. Many praised the quick-thinking good Samaritans who risked their own safety to break up the fight.
"Major respect to those two heroes who jumped in to stop them," commented one viewer emotionally invested in the drama.
"Even workers watching from that truck were laughing at how ridiculous it got," observed another sharp-eyed social media user about background details most missed initially.
"This is why you need Zen-level patience when driving near Johor embankment," quipped a local driver familiar with area tensions.
